Sad news, indeed. Miyu Matsuki passed away on October 27, following a hospital admittance for acute pneumonia. Along with Hikari, she was known for performances as Hisui from Melty Blood, Sapphire from Fate/Prillya, Anna from Shimoneta, Cthuko from Nyaruko-san, Lailah from Tales of Zestiria, and many others.

Strawberry Panic's anime to be reissued on Bluray!
On their facebook page, today, Media Blasters announced a June 26th reissue of the 26 episode Strawberry Panic anime... this time, on bluray!
Region-locked to BD zone A and coming in a two disc digipack, the full run time is stated as 650 minutes, and features the original Japanese language track, (plus what I would imagine are the DVD release's subtitles.)

Blatant plug incoming: close friend, Strawberry Dorms associate, and fellow Strawberry Panic serial fanficcer, Rain Fletcher, has made it into a LGBTQ-inclusive high sorcery shorts anthology. Strawberry Dorms facebook page has closed.
Sadly, due to a change in the law in the UK this week, we have taken the decision to remove the Strawberry Dorms page from facebook. We've done this to protect the artists whose fan works we had uploaded and linked via the page, works that under the new Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act could be used commercially without the consent of the artist, due to facebook's rather irritating habit of removing the meta-data from all of the images it carries on its site.
